Historian Witch is here!

I’m very happy to announce that Historian Witch is out today!

I really toiled on this book because the plot is much more complex and epic than my previous books, so I’m really happy with how it turned out. It also gave me a chance to write about Arthurian legends, something I’ve wanted to do for years. I hope you’ll all enjoy it.

What’s coming next? I’m currently editing Hunter Witch, the fourth Venus King Mysteries book. This one is also epic, but still slightly different than the other books in the series, and is focused on something else I’ve been wanting to write about for a while now, but I’ll keep it a secret for now. That one is coming December 14th, so I hope you’ll join me for that one too!

Don’t forget to join my newsletter too, as you’ll get access to a bonus short story that ties into this book.

Sale and new release

Just a quick update to say that Apprentice Witch is only 99 cents and the sequel Artisan Witch is $1.99 until Friday September 12th.

Next Monday, September 15th, will be the release of book 3 in the series, Historian Witch, just in time for Halloween! I worked really hard on this book to make it especially epic, and I hope you’ll all like it too. This one is a big save-the-world adventure with history, Arthurian mythology, and a hint of romance.

I also have a new bonus short story that ties into book 3, which is free to read if you join my newsletter. This one has vikings wielding Excalibur to fight an army of vampires!

Artisan Witch is here! (And what’s coming next)

Blessed Midsummer! I hope you are able to get outside and do something special to celebrate. On Midsummer’s Eve we’re having a cookout at my job and on Midsummer’s Day my husband and I are hoping to have a picnic, if it doesn’t rain (and this is Finland, so it probably will!).

Just in time for the holiday, Artisan Witch is out now on Amazon! Fittingly, the inciting incident of this book takes place on Midsummer’s Eve and the whole book is full of summer vibes.

I know I say this about all of my books, but I’m very pleased with how this one came out. It was a lot of fun writing about the fae realm for this book and it made for some interesting worldbuilding. I also got to research a lot about art history and symbolism. There’s also a fancy party scene and I always love coming up with excuses to get my characters dressed up in formal outfits, especially for romantic tension!

I’m hard at work editing book 3 in the series, which will be titled Historian Witch. As the title suggests, the theme of this book will be history and will explore different periods of British history. It also prominently features something I’ve been wanting to write about for years – Arthurian mythology. I’ve been a huge fan of the myths ever since I became obsessed with the BBC series Merlin. It’s still one of my favourite shows to this day. Although my take on the Arthurian legends turned out to be a little different than on the show. I’m excited to see how readers respond to them. This book will be coming out on September 15th and the climax will take place on Halloween/Samhain, so it will be full of autumn vibes.

I’m going to be on summer work break for all of July. Aside from getting book 3 ready, studying Finnish, and hopefully going swimming, I’m going to finally be getting my first 2 books published in paperback. It might be too late this year but I’m hoping to start selling books at events, as I really want to meet readers face to face as well as get to know some fellow authors.

Until next time, have a great summer!
